The Challenge
The Honda Dream Generator—an AI-powered experience allowing families to create personalized animated adventure films with the Honda Prologue—launched with a disjointed customer experience across platforms. The third-party vendor failed to deliver adequate user experience design, resulting in poor usability and inconsistent UI across Desktop, Mobile, and FireTV that undermined the campaign's potential impact.
Process
I conducted a systematic UX audit, documenting user pain points and platform inconsistencies before developing strategic recommendations for improvement. Once stakeholder approval was secured, I collaborated closely with creative and developer teams to implement the new design system. The process required innovative problem-solving to transform the problematic horizontal desktop navigation into an intuitive mobile-first experience. Additionally, I conceptualized and led our team in designing and building a custom Fire TV screen experience—extending the Dream Generator into living room environments where families naturally gather to discuss major purchases like cars.
