Games for Amazon Glow was a major initiative for the UX design team and was responsible for all aspects of game design, art directions, and development with external vendors. First steps toward establishing a catalog of games was to develop a series of classic games for the device, Memory Match, Chess, and Checkers.
Working with an external development team, I lead the art direction, defining the visual style while developing mechanisms to streamline art direction feedback with external developers to allow the games team to scale and identify efficiencies in production process. The resulting Memory Match game has been a continuous favorite with Glow customers with high replay-ability.
