Fire Tablets with Kindle Ads enabled, required ads that could be displayed when no scheduled advertising was available which created an issue with black screens being displayed as the default to customer. I developed a series of ads that encouraged readers to shop for additional books or explore new features available on their Kindle devices. The "Find your new favorite book" ads are still in use today across Kindle and Fire Tablet devcies.
International Campaigns
As art director in the ads in-house studio for special projects, I lead an effort to support expansion of Kindle ads into new countries. Launch in new locales required collaboration with marketing managers across countries, publisher legal requirements for use of book imagery, and developing mechanisms to allow design teams in new locales ramp up their design teams while meeting the creative standards and guidelines for designing ads on Kindle devices.
Prime Video Special Sections
Partnering with the Prime Video marketing team, we developed an initiative to launch quarterly entertainment guides designed for Fire Tablets to highlight new releases available for Prime Members are part of their subscription. I lead the Creative Direction and launch, requiring partnering with team members across development teams, marketing, and design leadership.
